Fish Cake with Grilled Salmon
First, David grinded the fish cake. Then, he started poaching the raw salmon and flaked the grilled salmon to give it a savory flavor. He then added milk onto a pan, put a bare leaf in, and some peppercorns. Afterwards, he soaked the salmon on the pan, popped the lid on, and gave it for about 5 minutes.
Then, he added Panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, finely chopped green onion, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon zest and juice, salt, and black pepper. David gently mixed until all ingredients are well combined.
Then, he shaped the salmon mixture into 8 equal-sized patties about 1/2-inch thick, and then brushed each patty with olive oil on both sides.
David place salmon cakes on the grill being careful to keep the cake together. He waited for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the salmon cooked through.
Posh Fish and Chips & Mushy Peas
Davin began by making his choice of flavored butter. Squash the butter onto a large sheet of greaseproof paper, finely chop all the fresh ingredients, zest over the lemon and mix with the butter (and spices for the curry butter) until combined. Roll the butter up into a log shape and twist the ends like a Christmas cracker.
Later onwards, David preheated the oven to 200°C/400°F. He scrubbed the potatoes clean, cut into 2cm-thick chips and parboiled it in a large pan of boiling salted water for 6 minutes. Drain well and leave to steam dry in the colander.
When it was done, He gently scored the mullet and bream along the length of the fillet. For the meantime, David suggested to preheat your grill to full whack, then pop all the fish into a large skillet or ovenproof dish. Grill for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the mussels and clams have opened up and everything is beautifully cooked.
